Pottery Throwing Batts
We offer a range of handmade pottery throwing batts in various sizes, pin hole options, and materials. Our products are made with the highest quality materials, including MR MDF (Moisture Resistant), Premium (Exterior grade) MDF, Birch Plywood, and Marine Grade Plywood, to provide the best possible results.
Our pottery throwing batts are designed with 10mm holes and a 10" or 254mm centre spacing, which makes them compatible with Shimpo-type wheel heads. If you require different pin sizes or spacing, please get in touch with us, and we'll do our best to accommodate your specific needs.

*Please note, it is become extremely difficult to obtain what is generally regarded as "Marine ply" whilst still ensuring that it has not come from illegal logging. We use a hardwood plywood which has passed the specification to be used in a marine environment, its basically the same but we know the supply chain and can ensure that it has come from well managed forests.
